The Shabby Nest

Welcome to my blog! I'm starting this to share furniture makeovers, Decorating, and share some techniques with you. I'm an avid vintage, antique and just plain junk lover! So many of the pieces I work on come to me in disrepair maybe headed to the dump. I love taking that piece and making it beautiful again. I do a lot of custom pieces for people and it is so fun when they come to pick up the furniture and see how it has changed. Updating kitchen cupboards is another thing I do and man it is always amazing to me to see how much paint can transform a space. So welcome to my little space.
